Hello everyone! I have started my Christmas tags for my students and decided to use Snowman Boy and Snowman Girl from 2 Cute Ink. I have 21 of them to make, so here is just one that is finished - it was my prototype!!! Now to make the rest!!! I added a bit of 3D white paint under him for snow.
Now, head on over to the 2 Cute Ink SHOP and pick up this cute snowman and his girlfriend......and a few others while you're there!!!! HUGS,
Hi everyone, it is Timi here.
I am back with a tag for Christmas featuring the Gingerbread Girl digital stamp.
Recently I like to create tags, they are so versatile. You can add them to Christmas presents or just send them as they are.
It was a quick tag to make which is great in the big Christmas rush.
Nicole here today with a fun Christmas card using the new Santa Mouse image. I love this little mouse about to climb down the chimney to deliver the gifts! I put him in a little spotlight on the card and added a fun banner for the sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by today, hope you are getting a good start on your Christmas cards!
Welcome and Happy Monday! I'm so glad you joined us today. 2 Cute Ink's Little Reindeer make a sweet collection - clearly Reindeer Lights is perfect for the holiday season.
Today's card is a shaped card using a free label file (Maggie's Label 3) from Magnamity. I took the "label" file and sized it to to be 5-1/2" x 5-1/2". I welded it to a rectangle for the card base. I resized the label for each layer, then added a strip across the front (accented with a border punch). The reindeer is colored with Copic Markers - with Stickles added for the Christmas lights, his nose, and accent dots in corners. He is popped up alongside a big holiday wish created with just a word processor.
This card brought a little serendipity - I did not intend for the card shape to resemble a Christmas ornament. When I was finished, however....there it was! So I added a piece of rumpled ribbon to the top to finish off the ornament.
Have a fabulous crafty week, and I will see you next Monday.
Hello everyone! It's Chris again today!!! Here is a cute little birthday card I made to have on hand when I need one!! I have used BEE MINE from 2 Cute Ink because she is so freakin' adorable!!!! I have coloured her with my Koh-i-noor pencils and gamsol. I'm working on a tutorial on how to colour with pencils and gamsol, so stay tuned!!!! :)
Now, BUZZ on over to the 2 Cute Ink SHOP and pick up this cute bee and a few others while you're there!!!! HUGS,
Hi everyone, it is Timi here today to share a Christmas card featuring the Little Reindeer digi stamps. How cute!!
I found some Scandinavian style patterned paper and ribbon so I used them to create this card. I coloured the image with markers and then cut it out. I kept some of the white paper below the image to imitate snow. I wasn't sure to add some glitter or not, so I din't in the end. But maybe later I will go back and add some to make the snow sparkly.
The sentiment was heat embossed with white embossing powder.
It was a quick but fun card to make. I hope you like it,
Nicole here again for some more Tuesday inspiration. For this week I decided to make a start on gift tags for Christmas. I used the very cute Gingerbread Boy and Gingerbread Girl images in the store for my tags. I printed the images out and die cut them from the card using a spellbinders nested tag die.
I then added a hole at the top and set an eyelet into this for extra strength when tying them on to things. Some festive washi tape around the bottom brought in some more colour and I used a Studio Calico date stamp to add the date on the side in Festive Berries Distress Ink.
The images were coloured in with my Chromatix markers and some gel pens for some sparkle too. I added some faux stitching to finish them off then.
Isn't this such a wonderful time of year! In some parts of the country, the crisp fall air is combined with beautiful soft snow. Yet I am able to still enjoy temps in the 80s! But that doesn't stop me from the inspiration of snow-themed ideas - and what says snow better than a snow globe! This snow globe houses some special 2 Cute Ink characters - The Gingerbread Boy and Gingerbread Girl - dancing around the Sparkle Tree.
Hello everyone! It's Chris again today...... I am now in full "Christmas Card" mode....so here is another using REINDEER LIGHTS from 2 Cute Ink .......because he is so freakin' adorable!!!! The sentiment is from an old Elzybells stamp set......but fits this little guy perfectly!!!!
Now, head on over to the 2 Cute Ink SHOP and pick up this cute mouse and a few others while you're there!!!! Don't forget to get his good buddy Little Reindeer!!!! HUGS, Chris
It's Monday! Today I used the cute little image Sweet Lady Bug. I used two techniques with this image. I printed and colored the lady bug (both on the front and inside with a sentiment)....I also cut a couple strawberries on my eClips and pieced them together for an embellishment. The fabulous word art is a free image by Elegant Wordart by Bethany.
Enjoy all the fabulous projects this week, and we'll see you right back here next Monday.
It is now November and it's getting colder and colder here. I want to show you a card featuring this very cute Winter Owl image to remind you to stay warm and not to catch a cold. This image is so sweet, I like the way he has the little earmuffs.
I printed the image on heavy weight sketch paper and coloured it in with Promarker. I cut the whole image out with circle die using a little trick to save the tree branch that is overhanging.
I chose a very busy patterned paper for my background and that is the reason I didn't use so many embellishments.
Nicole here with a fun little card using the adorable Winter Mushroom image. I printed this image on white card and also on red card. I fussy cut the red textured card out and stuck it on the white printed image. I coloured the rest of the image with markers. I coloured in the white spots with a white gel pen.
I used some Christmas papers to make the card. I think this image makes the cutest and fun Christmas card!
The mushroom die cut is mounted on foam pads for some dimension. I love red, green and kraft for a Christmas combo, don't you!
This is such a fun time of year! Leftover Halloween Treats, Thanksgiving approaching, Christmas shopping, Holiday Festivities with friends....the list of activities and events are endless. With Christmas on its way, many of you are scrambling to get Christmas cards made. I challenge you to spend some time working on those everyday cards for all the other activities throughout the year.
Today I am excited to share Sherlock Mouse. Don't say you weren't warned - this little guy can be addictive!
Enjoy this week's projects, and we'll see you back here next Monday.
